Company Data and Scope

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), and the applicable national legislation on personal data protection, Iniciatives Portuaries Mirall De Mar De Mallorca, S.L., with registered office at C/ Gremi Ferrers, 25 Pje Particular, 07009, Palma de Mallorca, and operational address at Muelle Viejo, Espigón Exterior s/n, 07012 Palma de Mallorca, as a company belonging to IPM GROUP, hereby informs you of its privacy policy regarding the personal data currently held in the IPM GROUP databases for various communications, or which may be collected through the different forms made available on our website (www.ipm-management.com).

 

IPM Group Information

IPM Group (Iniciativas Portuarias Mallorca Group) is a group of companies dedicated to the construction and management of marinas and boatyards, as well as to advisory and consultancy services for nautical projects at national and international level. The Group is made up of the following companies:

  • Varadero Valencia: Varadero Valencia, S.L.U., Tax ID (CIF) B57342677, with registered office at Camino Canal, 91 (RCNV) – 46024 – Valencia.

Purpose of Data Processing

The data you provide will be processed exclusively by the companies of IPM GROUP for the following purposes:

  • managing enquiries or requests submitted through the forms available on our website;
  • sending quotations or commercial offers requested through any of our contact channels;
  • purposes related to legal, health or safety requirements at our facilities;
  • occasional communications regarding changes or notices affecting our facilities;
  • provision of ancillary services or products;
  • business or statistical purposes;
  • general communications related to news, events, activities or any information of interest related to the service you have previously contracted;
  • other complementary purposes, such as shared communications with the other companies within IPM GROUP.

 

Categories of Recipients of Personal Data

Under no circumstances will your data be disclosed publicly. Your data may only be communicated, for the purposes indicated above, to the following categories of recipients:

  • internal staff of IPM GROUP, acting as data processors or data controllers;
  • suppliers or collaborators of IPM GROUP who provide the services requested by you and which are necessary during your stay at any of the Group’s facilities;
  • individuals, companies, associations or professional firms providing assistance or consultancy services to IPM GROUP for the protection of its own rights (such as accountants, lawyers, tax advisors, auditors, consultants in audit or due diligence activities, etc.);
  • individuals, companies or agencies providing marketing, analysis or consultancy services to IPM GROUP;
  • entities whose right of access to your data is recognised by law, secondary regulations or by provisions issued by legally authorised authorities, including port authorities at the locations where vessels berth.

Transfer of Personal Data

As a general rule, your data will not be transferred to third parties, except for the disclosures indicated above within IPM GROUP, always with your consent, or where there is a legal obligation. Your data will not be subject to international data transfers.

 

Retention of Personal Data

The information collected is subject to the security measures implemented by IPM GROUP in accordance with current personal data protection regulations and will be retained for as long as the relationship is maintained and deletion is not requested, and in any case for the legally established limitation periods applicable.

Photographs/images and audio/video recordings obtained during events and onboard activities will be retained for an unlimited period.

 

Data Controller and Data Processing Responsibility

Iniciatives Portuaries Mirall De Mar De Mallorca, S.L., with registered office at C/ Gremi Ferrers, 25 Pje Particular, 07009, Palma de Mallorca, and operational address at Muelle Viejo, Espigón Exterior s/n, 07012 Palma de Mallorca, forms part of IPM GROUP and is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

The facilities belonging to IPM GROUP, which act as custodians of the databases containing your personal data, are: Marina Port de Mallorca, Marina Ibiza, STP Shipyard Palma, Varadero Valencia, Varadero Ibiza, Pinturas Monzó, CKIM and IPM Management.




Rights of the Data Subject

In accordance with Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you have the right at any time to:

  • access your personal data;
  • request the rectification of your personal data;
  • withdraw consent for the use and disclosure of your personal data;
  • request the erasure of your personal data;
  • receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and request the transfer of your data to another data controller;
  • object to the processing of your personal data, including for marketing or profiling purposes;
  • request the restriction of the processing of your personal data;
  • request information regarding the purpose of the processing.

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification or erasure of your data, as well as restriction of processing (in which case your data will only be processed for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims), and the right to object to processing, whereby we will cease processing your data.

To exercise these rights, you must submit a written request enclosing a copy of your ID card or passport, either in person at our offices or by sending a registered letter to the registered address indicated above. Should you have exercised your rights and not received a satisfactory response, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
